At present,with the rapid development of information technology,the new curriculum reform of basic education is also in full swing.How to cultivate students’ computational thinking in primary school information technology courses has attracted more and more people’s attention,and it is becoming more and more intense in primary school,which provides great impetus for cultivating socialist builders with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique and beauty.However,at present,the development of students’ computational thinking in various schools is still in the exploratory stage,especially in the teaching of information technology courses in primary schools.There are still some problems the design of teaching activities to cultivate students’ computational thinking lacks standardization,ignores the cultivation of students’ computational thinking,and the atmosphere of students ’ classroom learning is poor.This study seeks to create a real life scene,combined with the students’ interest in choosing learning content,carried out for the cultivation of computational thinking of primary school information technology design and practice research,improve the current in the primary school information technology curriculum to cultivate students’ computational thinking problems,effectively cultivate students’ computational thinking,improve students’ interest in information technology courses and the enthusiasm of programming learning.Firstly,this study combs and analyzes the relevant concepts,theoretical basis,computational thinking at home and abroad and the research status of information technology courses through the literature research method.By means of classroom observation and interview,this paper investigates and analyzes the teaching status of information technology courses in Z primary school of J city in Shandong province.Secondly,based on the current survey results and the’ Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)’ as the main design basis,the preliminary design of the teaching activity framework of this research is carried out in accordance with the design principles of primary school information technology activities oriented to the cultivation of computational thinking.Taking the students of Class 1,Grade 6 of Z Primary School in J City,Shandong Province as the research object,the action research is carried out to improve the teaching activities through the spiral improvement of’ planning,implementation,observation and reflection’.After three rounds of iteration,the final teaching activity design framework is improved.Through classroom observation,student learning records,student interviews and work evaluation,the effectiveness of teaching activities and existing problems are judged.Finally,through the qualitative analysis of the whole process materials and the quantitative data analysis of the computational thinking scale,the effectiveness of the primary school information technology teaching activities for the cultivation of computational thinking is verified,and the corresponding teaching suggestions are summarized.The research results show that the teaching design and practical research of information technology in primary schools for the cultivation of computational thinking can improve students’ enthusiasm for programming learning,and then effectively cultivate students’ computational thinking.
