At the end of 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the "General High School Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)".The new curriculum standard clearly proposes to cultivate students' Computational Thinking(CT)ability.Under the new information technology curriculum system, how to change the teaching mode to cultivate students' CT level has become an important issue. The new textbooks prepared under the guidance of the new curriculum standards focus more on training students' CT ability in the process of programming. With the development of the times, visual programming has entered the teaching of information technology in high schools.Under the visual programming environment, students can focus on the thinking process without having to focus too much on the boring code.To effectively train students' computational thinking ability, this article is based on the teaching of the new textbook "Mobile Application Design".This study first analyzed the urgency and feasibility of cultivating computational thinking in high school, and then used the literature analysis method to organize the research status, mainly from four aspects: the conceptual development of CT,educational reform of CT,CT training methods and CT evaluation. Then the concept of CT is defined from the five dimensions of decomposition, generalization, algorithmic thinking, evaluation, and abstraction, and instructional design and practical research are carried out under the guidance of constructivism, humanism, and middle school theory.Secondly, using the computational thinking measurement scale developed by Lego,a questionnaire survey was conducted on students participating in the experiment, and then the data was collected.Based on the statistical analysis of the survey data, the current status of computational thinking in high school students was analyzed.Thirdly, according to the current situation of students' CT ability, put forward targeted teaching strategies and teaching design principles, based on the new curriculum standard teaching ideas as atheoretical basis.A new teaching model for the cultivation of computational thinking in the "Mobile Application Design" course was designed after analyzing the App Inventor teaching model proposed by previous researchers. Finally, based on the newly designed teaching model, two rounds of teaching practice research was carried out. After the first round of teaching practice,a statistical analysis of the research data was conducted to find out the shortcomings, and the teaching model was revised on the basis of summary and analysis. The second round of teaching practice is based on the revised teaching model. After the second round of teaching practice, statistical analysis of the research data is carried out,and finally the experimental conclusion is drawn. The results of the study indicate that teaching under the new teaching model of high school information technology courses oriented to CT can improve students' CT ability.Based on the new curriculum standards and new textbooks, this article can provide some suggestions for the implementation of the new textbooks.
