Computational thinking can improve people's ability to solve problems.Many experts and scholars at home and abroad believe that improving students' computational thinking ability should be one of the teaching goals of information technology.They believe that computational thinking can affect people's problem-solving efficiency,help people solve problems in life,and better adapt to society.Traditional teaching mainly adopts the way that teachers teach and listen to students.There is less communication and interaction between teachers and students,and students only passively accept the knowledge taught by teachers.Based on the study of a large number of related documents,this article aims to improve the computational thinking ability of middle school students,analyzes the basic elements of teaching design,constructs teaching practice procedures and student task lists,and applies this teaching practice in the teaching activities of smart programming in middle schools.Process.The research content includes the following four aspects:(1)Organize the theoretical and practical results related to computational thinking teaching.Analyze the connotation and characteristics of computational thinking.summarize relevant theoretical results and literature,and sort out the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of this article.(2)Analyze the related research of computational thinking,based on teaching theory,improve the computational thinking ability of middle school students as the goal,construct the teaching process,and design the student task list.The teaching link puts teachers in the position of guide and helper,students in the main body of teaching,and maintains good communication between teachers and students,students and students,and promotes the improvement of middle school students' computational thinking ability.(3)"Smart Programming" teaching case design and practice.According to the teaching process of computational thinking training in the middle school information technology class,the "Smart Programming" teaching case design is carried out,and this teaching case is used in the teaching practice process,hoping to improve students'computational thinking ability.(4)Organize experimental data and analyze and discuss.Statistical analysis of relevant data and information,professional evaluation of teaching results.In the end,under the influence of this teaching process,many students have an active learning interest and curiosity for computational thinking courses.The analysis of computational thinking test questionnaires,interviews,student works,teaching effect questionnaires and student task lists shows that students have improved in the five quantitative abilities of decomposition thinking,abstract thinking,algorithmic thinking,evaluation thinking,and general thinking..It is proved that through this teaching,the computational thinking of middle school students can be improved.
