In-Depth Coverage Of "How Far Is Employment Diversity?Observation Of Visually Impaired Occupations"

The degree of development of a country’s disability undertakings is an important criterion for measuring the development level of its social civilization.Employment is not only an important way for disabled people to improve their living standards,but also a key part of integrating into mainstream society and realizing their self-worth,which is of indispensable significance to them.Due to the lack of their own vision,the visually impaired often have the lowest employment rate among all disability categories.They have narrow career choices,single employment channels,and low employment quality.Their employment status needs to be improved urgently.Behind the macro employment,there are vivid individuals.In-depth reporting breaks through the traditional reporting model,revealing the reasons while presenting the facts.It is a commonly used reporting method when analyzing complex social issues,and can more deeply reflect the employment of the visually impaired to the society.After observing and interviewing 20 visually impaired persons in different occupations,this paper selects 7 more representative persons as the reporting objects,focuses on their individual experiences,and reflects the employment of visually impaired persons in the form of in-depth reports.In order to present the current employment "slice" of visually impaired people in China,and explore the development direction of their diversified employment.This article is divided into two parts,the first part is the report work,there are three chapters.The first chapter analyzes the reasons why the current employment of the visually impaired is limited to the massage industry;the second chapter describes some of the visually impaired people’s experience of multiple attempts in the occupation and points out the reasons why they "break out" of the massage parlor;the third chapter analyzes the changes the current employment dilemma is feasible.The second part of the thesis is the exposition of the works,explaining the theoretical background and significance of the topic selection,recording the creative process in detail and introducing the works,which plays a supplementary role for the main body of the report.After in-depth observation and interviews,it was found that at present,the field of visually impaired employment is mostly the massage industry,but due to the general shortcomings of the industry such as unfree time control,low social recognition,and susceptibility to occupational diseases,most visually impaired masseurs are not satisfied with the quality of their employment,and hope to have more career choice opportunities.In this regard,it is proposed that in the future,we can solve their employment problems by developing digital jobs,promoting integrated education,and improving the environment of the massage industry,so that the visually impaired can improve the quality of employment and enrich employment options.
