Teacher-student relationship is the principal and basic interpersonal relationship in school.The investigation of teacher-student relationship has always been an unavoidable part of education and teaching.Harmonious teacher-student relationship is conducive to students’ physical and mental health development,teachers’ personal growth and school’ work improvement.With the gradual implementation of the class selection system under the background of college entrance examination,a series of changes have taken place in school education and teaching.In this context,the status quo and problems of teacher-student relationship also attract people’s attention.Based on this,referring to domestic and foreign studies on teacher-student relationship and non-graded instruction,this research took students and teachers of several high schools in Shenzhen as the investigation objects,through questionnaire survey and interview method,focused on the status quo of teacher-student relationship,and discuss the existing problems of teacher-student relationship.The study found three problems between the teacher-student relationship under the background of the class selection system:In general,the teacher-student relationship under the background of the class selection system is not ideal;There still exists the tendency of students’ alienation from teachers;Some teachers have less communication with students than before the implementation of the class selection system.Then,the study analyzes the teacher-student relationship under the background of the new college entrance examination from five aspects:society,schools,teachers,students and the influence of the class selection system.1.The status gap between teachers and students in reality causes the psychological distance between teachers and students;The respect and support from public opinion to teachers need to be improved;The negative influence of examination-oriented education is restricting the development of teacher-student relationship.2.Some schools do not pay enough attention to the teacher-student relationship;The evaluation mechanism of teachers in some schools is unreasonable;The management of some schools is not appropriate.3.Some teachers’ educational ideas and concepts are backward;Some teachers’ teaching methods and contents are monotonous,Some teachers’ management and communication styles are outdated and inappropriate.4.The autonomy of students is enhanced,which weakens the authority of teachers;There is a "passer-by" mentality in the student group culture,which leads to the alienation of the relationship between teachers and students.5.The class selection system makes it difficult for schools to manage their education and teaching;The class selection system makes it difficult for teachers to teach;The class selection system makes it difficult for students to learn.Finally,in view of the above problems,the study puts forward the strategies of constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship under the background of class selection system from the perspective of school administrators,teachers and students,in order to provide reference for further study of teacher-student relationship under the same background. |
