Research On Operational Efficiency Evaluation Of Listed Companies In China’s Snow And Ice Industry Under The Background Of Beijing Winter Olympics

As a representative of the advanced ice and snow industry vitality during the preparation of the Winter Olympics,the birth and development of listed companies in the ice and snow industry is the inevitable result of the marketization of China’s ice and snow industry,and also reflects the development relationship between the snow and ice industry and the stock market brought about by the boom of the snow and ice sports in the background of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.From the proposal of ice and snow industry concept stocks in 2015 to the soaring of ice and snow industry concept stock index in 2022,the constituent companies of the ice and snow industry concept board are constantly increasing.However,when business operators and market investors see that the Winter Olympics and national policies have brought benefits to the ice and snow industry,they should focus more on the growth potential of the company and return to the fundamentals of the company.The performance evaluation of listed companies is of great significance to enterprise managers,investors,government management departments and other stakeholders.Through literature analysis,factor analysis and data envelopment model,this thesis discusses the impact of the bid to host the Winter Olympics on the development of my country’s ice and snow industry,and selects the panel data of 15 listed companies in my country’s ice and snow industry concept stocks from 2015 to 2020 as the research sample,and constructs the operation efficiency evaluation model of ice and snow industry concept listed companies during the preparation of the Winter Olympic Games,in order to provide reference for the improvement of input-output efficiency of China’s ice and snow industry concept stock listed companies and promote the development of China’s ice and snow industry.The research content of the dissertation mainly consists of the following six parts:The first part is the introduction,which discusses the research background,research significance and research methods;The second part is the related concepts of ice and snow industry and business performance,and the literature review of the economic impact and business performance of events at home and abroad.The third part summarizes the favorable development factors of China’s ice and snow industry under the Winter Olympics in Beijing,analyzes the development status of China’s ice and snow industry under the background of the preparation for the Winter Olympics from the macro and micro levels,and sorts out the business and industry information of the current ice and snow industry concept stock listed companies.The fourth part expounds the principle of factor analysis and DEA model,and constructs the DEA business performance evaluation model based on factor analysis;The fifth part makes a static and dynamic efficiency evaluation on the operating performance of China’s ice and snow industry concept listed companies,and bring forwards some suggestions;The sixth part summarizes the research conclusions of the full text,and puts forward the deficiencies and prospects.The results show that: 1.the development of ice and snow industry is sufficient by the Winter Olympic Games,and COVID-19 has caused some impact on it.2.The formation of ice and snow industry concept plate is an important product under the background of economic development and Winter Olympics.3.There is still room to improve the operating efficiency and technological innovation ability of ice and snow industry concept stock companies.Ice and snow listed companies should grasp the background of the times and improve their operating efficiency from four aspects:improving the efficiency of resource allocation,strengthening commercial cooperation,paying attention to technological innovation and strengthening the marketing of ice and snow industry.
