The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics has promoted the development of China’s ice and snow industry, making the demand for ice and snow talents even more urgent.Under the dual action of policy and social demand, some colleges and universities have set up ice and snow sports and related majors and carried out the training of ice and snow talents. At present, due to the advantages of environment and climate, the training and development of ice and snow talents in Northeast China is good, but in the whole country, there is an imbalance of development. As the host city of the Winter Olympic Games, the development and popularization of ice and snow sports in Beijing has relatively higher representative significance.Capital University of Physical Education, located in Beijing,is the only sports university in the city, shouldering the social responsibility of meeting the demand for sports talents in the capital and promoting the popularization and development of ice and snow sports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Meanwhile, the Capital Institute of Physical Education insists on taking ice and snow sports as one of its schoolrunning features. In this context, comprehensive internal and external factors make the Capital Institute of Physical Education ice talent training more worthy of attention.Based on relevant researches at home and abroad, this paper takes the training status of ice and snow talents of Capital University of Physical Education in the post-Winter Olympics era as the research object.By using the methods of literature, interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, this paper studies and analyzes the training status of ice and snow talents of Capital University of Physical Education in the postWinter Olympics era,and combines the training experience of talents at home and abroad to find and make up for its own shortcomings. So as to achieve the goal of improving the quality of talent training and sustainable development. The research conclusion is as follows:1.By analyzing the demand and training status of ice and snow talents,it can be concluded that the preparation for the Winter Olympics has promoted the development of ice and snow sports and intensified the demand for talents.Colleges and universities with ice and snow related majors have uneven distribution and unbalanced development;Take application talents as the main training goal;Ice and snow featured courses are abundant.2.The current situation of snow and ice talents training in Capital University of Physical Education: there are a large number of snow and ice related majors with a wide range of directions; The types of training objectives are consistent with those of other universities, and there is a convergence phenomenon. The characteristics of "internationalization" of talents are not obvious; The development of ice and snow courses is insufficient.3.The training process of snow and ice talents in Capital University of Physical Education: the training process includes two parts: classroom teaching and practical operation;Improper time arrangement, less actual teaching time; The curriculum is consistent with the requirements, and the theoretical and practical courses are not balanced(a few professional courses do not meet the requirements of the National Standards);Students have strong learning initiative and clear development direction; The teaching method is not reasonable; The competition condition is not ideal, and there are weak links in the training system.4.The guarantee conditions for snow and ice talents training in Capital Institute of Physical Education are as follows: insufficient site construction;Teaching staff is not perfect; The lack of teaching materials and the lack of development can not guarantee the implementation of teaching.
