With the transformation of China’s economic structure and industrial upgrading,the demand for technical and skilled talents in modern manufacturing and emerging industries is increasing.Secondary vocational education is one of the important ways to cultivate technical and skilled talents,and the technical and skilled talents it cultivates make great contributions to the development of the country.However,secondary vocational school students are in adolescence,their body and mind are not mature,and their correct professional outlook and values have not been established.They are very vulnerable to adverse factors,doubt themselves,lose the future,fail to realize self-identity and fall into the dilemma of self-identity.Through the questionnaire survey and interview with 330 students in F secondary vocational school in H City,this study found that their self-identity dilemma is mainly manifested in: vague self-role positioning,unclear understanding,poor group role interaction,low sense of belonging,negative and negative self-worth evaluation,unclear self goal path,lack of motivation and so on.Through the analysis of the causes of the dilemma,it is clear that it has the needs to strengthen the ability of reflection and exploration,enhance self-awareness,improve the home school education mode and communication ability,establish a correct professional outlook,clarify its own advantages,improve social recognition and broaden career channels.Finally,this study selected 9 secondary vocational students who showed low self-identity in the questionnaire and interview to form a growth group.After eight group activities,the process evaluation and result evaluation were carried out on the team members.The results showed that the self-identity of the team members was improved,the team members were able to clarify their own positioning,master the correct communication methods,improve the passive state of interpersonal communication,self-confidence The sense of self-worth has been improved,the correct professional outlook has been established,the self positioning has been further clarified,and the driving force for development has been enhanced.It is obvious that group work intervention can improve the self-identity of secondary vocational students.
