Group reading teaching is a breakthrough reading teaching practice,with its multi-text,inquiry and structured characteristics,which has achieved a breakthrough in the "anthology" classroom style of "teaching texts",expanding students’ reading volume and restoring students’ reading It expands students’ reading volume and restores students’ reading subjectivity.The emergence of this approach has undoubtedly provided a new option for reading teaching and has injected a new force into the "renaissance" of language teaching.Therefore,how to promote the development of group reading teaching has become an urgent problem in reading teaching.In the context of group reading teaching and the "youthful language" education concept,Wang Jun,rooted in the relevant theoretical foundations,has made painstaking research and exploration,and formed a unique teaching characteristic.His teaching characteristics have multiple values and have contributed to the development of group reading teaching.Based on this,Wang Jun’s teaching characteristics of group reading are analyzed.Through literature reading,classroom observation and other research methods,as well as the analysis of Wang Jun’s typical group text lessons,his teaching characteristics are manifested in three aspects: the innovation of group text lesson types,the youthfulness of teaching presentation and the diversity of text integration.In addition,Wang Jun’s group text reading teaching characteristics and their development provide some insights for front-line teachers to generate high-quality group text reading lessons and become qualified language teachers.In terms of generating high quality group reading lessons,the three aspects of generating a group reading field,generating an open teaching field of inquiry,and constructing a living field of life provide us with some teaching strategies for reference.In terms of language teachers,they should take reading as nutrients,teaching as soil,and innovation as a path to enhance their own professional development,so as to become a qualified language teacher.
