Group Work Involves A Study On The Integration Of Female Migrants Into Communities

In recent years,in the wave of social mobility,the female floating population has increased year by year,which is accompanied by a series of social adaptation problems.The survey found that with the urban construction and development of Yinchuan City,the S community in Yinchuan City has experienced the process of demolition and resettlement,industrial development,economic construction,etc.The community has a wide jurisdiction area,a large population base,and a relatively heavy proportion of floating population.In this paper,the author summarizes and explores the role of social work practice in the process of community integration of female floating population through the research on the community integration of female floating population in the S community of Yinchuan City,using the method of group work.During the intervention process,the author investigates the integration and social support of floating women in the S community through semi-structured interviews and observation methods.6 migrant women from the S community were recruited to form a work-in-hand support group.Through the preliminary needs assessment,it was concluded that the group members had needs in interpersonal relationships,cultural activities,family relations and community services,and lacked social support.A total of eight theme activities were designed in the early,middle and late stages of the group.From the introduction of the mutual understanding of the team members to the gradual familiarity with communication,guide the team members to explore their own potential,enhance their self-confidence,strengthen the self-protection awareness and legal awareness for the team members through the form of lectures,link social support,and increase the social support of peer groups,gradually Help clients build a social support network and promote community integration.In the process of intervention,improve the problems of team members and promote the integration of team members into the community.During the intervention process,the author found that the 6 migrant women had significantly improved their community integration by participating in group activities,but the current work only covers part of the migrant women,and the work for migrant women in the S community has a scarcity of professional social workers,Due to the lack of formal social support and the unsatisfactory long-term effectiveness of social work services,futher suggestions and prospects are put forward,that is,to increase the cultivation of community social workers,improve the breadth and validity of resource links,and highlight the role of community service stations for floating population.
