Practical Analysis Of Group Work Involved In Community Integration Of Migrant Women In Guangzhou

Guangdong Province,as the forefront of reform and opening up,has maintained an active population flow,and the population concentration of central cities has continued to increase.How to promote migrant women’s better and faster integration into urban communities has become an urgent issue in front of the whole society.In this paper,the author selected 10 migrant women in community a of Guangzhou as the research object,with the main purpose of helping migrant women integrate into the urban community.By using literature,observation,interview and other methods to collect data,we learned the current situation and needs of migrant women’s community integration in Guangzhou.In order to solve the problems of migrant women’s integration into urban communities,the author uses the theory of empowerment and social learning theory,through six sections of group activities to gradually increase the capacity of 10 team members,constantly improve their learning skills and social ability,promote their cultural integration,enhance their self-identity,and have a positive impact on their integration into urban communities.The study found that through the development of group activities,the 10 migrant women selected by the author improved their ability,gradually adapted to life in Guangzhou,and improved the difficult situation of integration before the activities.However,for the migrant women to integrate into the community,not only need the help of social workers and service agencies,but also the community and government should pay attention to the migrant women in Guangzhou.
