Based on the description of how the headhunters mobilize the target enterprises to open recruitment positions and search for job candidates,this paper presents the interactive process between the headhunters and the enterprises and the candidates respectively,as well as the structural change of the social network of human capital of the enterprises.Therefore,it mainly answers that in this Internet age,while information platforms such as major recruitment websites have directly connected all kinds of information,why we still need talent intermediary organizations like headhunters,and the theoretical mechanisms of headhunters acting as middlemen,the ideal types of job matching etc.First of all,headhunters play the roles of the bridge,certifier,risk taker,concierge and separator.Secondly,headhunters follow the mechanisms of information integration and reciprocity when they play the roles of middlemen.Information integration mechanism refers to that the headhunters,after collecting a large number of people and enterprise information,summarize certain employment concepts and management methods,and sell the knowledge of management consulting and career planning to enterprises and candidates respectively,leaving a good impression of "human resources experts" for them.The reciprocity mechanism refers to that after the headhunters successfully transform a target enterprise into the customer enterprise,they use the strategy of "referral" to seek candidates for the customer enterprise,and after achieving deep and stable cooperation with the customer enterprise,they again push the customer enterprise to refer them to other enterprises-in this process,there is a kind of the reciprocal relationship between the headhunters and the persons who help them to recommend the candidates or the customer enterprises.It is precisely because headhunters can not only use the Internet platform,but also have two operating mechanisms different from the Internet platform and the intermediary role of " separator ",headhunters have gained vigorous development in the Internet era.Finally,from the process of headhunting,including developing target enterprise positions and recruiting talents for customer enterprises,we can see the important reasons why enterprises choose to recruit talents outward and employees choose to change jobs.The trend of externalization of labor market promotes the outward extension of social network structure of enterprises’ human capital.In other words,the social network structure of enterprises’ human capital is being reconstructed.Both the booming of headhunters,and the changing of human capital network,show a trend of sustainable development.In addition,this paper can also to a certain extent explain the phenomena of frequent layoffs and job hopping.
