“Shadow Education" is the academic name of extracurricular tutoring given by domestic scholars.It refers to the tutoring institutions for primary and secondary school students to take part in in addition to mainstream school education for the purpose of making up for the poor or improving the students’ performance.As the end of nine-year compulsory education,the third year of junior high school is a crucial year.Taking part in shadow education has become a remedial choice for many students and their parents.Finally,they hope to stand out in the middle school entrance examination.However,in the process of participating in shadow education,there are some problems that cannot be ignored,which deviates from the original expectation of participating in shadow education.Therefore,the government,schools and families need to take their own actions to jointly solve the problem of participating in shadow education in the third grade,so as to promote the physical and mental health development of students in the third grade.This research is divided into eight parts:the first part is the introduction,expounding the origin of the research,the theoretical and practical significance of the topic,and the research methods.The second part is mainly literature review,including literature review and review.The third part mainly explains the theoretical basis of this study,screening hypothesis theory,marxist theory of the comprehensive development of human beings and maslow’s theory of needs,as well as the concept of definition and analytical structure.The fourth part describes the selection of survey objects,the arrangement of questionnaire survey and interview.The fifth part analyzes the results of questionnaire and interview on the status quo of shadow education for junior three students,including the difference analysis of five dimensions including subject,expenditure,form,participation experience and factors affecting participation experience.In the sixth part,according to the research results of the status quo of students’ participation in shadow education in junior three,it is found that the willingness to participate is mostly from their parents.Too much intensity leads to student fatigue;The teaching method is the same as school education.Students’ low participation experience leads to the problem of poor effect.The seventh part,according to the existing problems,find out the social reasons are fierce job market,traditional ideas,shadow education chaos;The school aspect is the teaching quality is different,excessively takes the intellectual education,the teacher life pressure is excessively big;The family aspect is the parents lack the reason,the neglect communicates,the student lacks the respect,the psychology fights the pressure to be weak.The eighth part,on the basis of discovering the problems and exploring the reasons,tries to put forward three systematic strategies to solve the problems of the government,school and family that junior three students participate in shadow education.
