With the improvement of the people’s living standards,the education investment awareness of the parents of elementary school students has gradually increased.However,the current mainstream school education cannot meet the learning and development needs of every student.As a supplement to mainstream school education,shadow education provides students and parents with diversified and personalized teaching services,and is favored by more and more parents and students.As the main subject of primary school students’ learning,Chinese occupies a place in the shadow education market,but there are few studies on Chinese shadow education.Therefore,the research on the status quo of shadow education in Chinese in elementary schools is helpful to improve the effectiveness of shadow education in Chinese,in order to provide a certain reference value for the development of Chinese education in schools.This paper adopts the literature method,questionnaire method and interview method,through a questionnaire survey of the parents of students participating in Chinese shadow education in an M elementary school in Xuzhou City,Jiangsu Province,combined with 20 elementary school students,12 school language teachers and 8students in Xuzhou area.Interviews with teachers of shadow education institutions to understand the current situation of Chinese shadow education in elementary schools in a certain district of Xuzhou.And from the dimensions of the driving factors,main content,teaching form of elementary school Chinese shadow education,the survey results are explained and analyzed in detail.The study found that shadow education in elementary school Chinese has certain positive effects,including enhancing students’ interest in learning Chinese,enriching students’ extracurricular knowledge reserves,and enhancing students’ confidence in Chinese learning;there are also certain negative effects,including reducing students’ autonomous learning ability and restrictions The development of students’ thinking,increase their study burden,and easily lead to educational unfairness.Then,starting from the four relevant subjects of students,elementary school students’ parents,schools,and shadow education institutions,this article puts forward the following optimization suggestions: First,students should enhance their independent learning ability,including correcting their learning attitudes and developing good learning habits,and making use of internal and external learning.Resources to increase knowledge reserves;secondly,parents return to the expectation of rational education,which specifically includes strengthening parent-child communication and learning to listen to children’s opinions,attaching importance to family education and identifying children’s language learning problems;then,schools improve the quality of Chinese teaching,including enriching teaching methods and Implementing assignment stratification,attaching importance to process evaluation and strengthening home-school communication,and actively carrying out activities to create a good reading atmosphere;finally,the organization optimizes the Chinese teaching mode,specifically including standardizing Chinese teaching content to avoid excessive teaching and adopting diverse teaching methods In order to avoid examoriented education,reasonable planning of Chinese teaching time to reduce the burden on students.Through the joint efforts of all parties,an educational synergy is formed to solve the problems existing in the shadow education of elementary school Chinese,and to provide promotion for elementary school students’ Chinese learning and development.
