Research On Elderly Care Services In Resettlement Communities In Ethnic Areas Of Guizhou Province

Prior to this,the communiqu é of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee mentioned for the first time the need to "implement a national strategy to actively respond to population aging",elevating the response to population aging to the height of the national strategy,indicating that the situation of population aging in China is becoming increasingly severe.As an important part of the "five batches" of Targeted Poverty Alleviation,relocation is a key batch and the first battle of the "five batches",Has made tremendous contributions to China’s poverty reduction cause.Guizhou Province is a multi-ethnic region and has the largest scale of relocation for poverty alleviation through relocation.Analyzing the elderly care service problems of resettlement communities in ethnic areas of Guizhou Province and putting forward corresponding countermeasures is the requirement of follow-up support for relocation of ex situ poverty alleviation,and is also one of the ways to effectively link the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization,which helps to build a strong sense of the Chinese Volksgemeinschaft.There are some problems with the elderly care services in resettlement communities in ethnic areas,which pose great challenges to the operation of elderly care services in Guizhou Province.In order to promote communication,exchange,and integration of elderly care in resettlement communities in ethnic areas,share basic elderly care services,and solve the problem of elderly care services in resettlement communities in ethnic areas of Guizhou Province,it is particularly important.This article takes the Xingfu Community in Lianshan Street,Tianzhu County,Qiandongnan Prefecture,Guizhou Province,and the Sanbao Street Community in Qinglong County,Qianxinan Prefecture,Guizhou Province as examples.Following the approach of "relevant concepts and theoretical foundations-background introduction-development status-problem analysis-cause analysis-proposing countermeasures",the research is conducted from the following aspects through literature review,field research,questionnaire survey,and in-depth interviews: Firstly,Sort out the relevant concepts and theories of community elderly care services in ethnic minority areas,and summarize the development stages of relocation for poverty alleviation in relocation areas;Secondly,an analysis is conducted on the current situation of elderly care services in Lianshan Street,Tianzhu County,Qiandongnan Prefecture,and Sanbao Street,Qinglong County,Qianxinan Prefecture.The following problems are identified in the elderly care services of resettlement communities in ethnic areas of Guizhou Province: a shortage of elderly care facilities and insufficient utilization of elderly care facilities;The elderly lack employment skills and have lower employment opportunities;Lack of medical and nursing talents and weak medical and nursing abilities;The family’s economic support is insufficient,and the family’s spiritual support is weakened.In response to the above issues,combined with on-site research and questionnaire data,the main reasons for these problems are analyzed: insufficient investment in facility funds and insufficient consideration of aging suitability;The Cost of living in cities and towns has increased,and the ability of economic income generation is weak;The development of talent team is not strong,and the level of professional service is relatively low;Most of the children go out to work,and the number of elderly left behind in the community is increasing.Finally,in response to the problems of elderly care services in resettlement communities in ethnic areas of Guizhou Province,this article proposes corresponding optimization paths: strengthening the infrastructure of resettlement communities in ethnic areas;Increase employment services with ethnic characteristics in resettlement communities;Developing community medical care in ethnic minority areas;Enhance family care in resettlement communities in ethnic areas.It is expected to promote the follow-up development of relocation for poverty alleviation in ethnic minority areas of Guizhou Province,promote exchanges and exchanges among the elderly of all ethnic groups in the resettlement communities in ethnic minority areas of Guizhou Province,build a strong sense of the Chinese Volksgemeinschaft,enhance the sense of gain,happiness and security of the elderly in the resettlement communities in ethnic minority areas of Guizhou Province,and help rural revitalization.
