Research On The Effective Path Of Social Integration Of Relocated Population From The Perspective Of Social Support

The "14th Five Year Plan" and the "No.1 Document" of 2023 explicitly mention the need to "do a good job in the follow-up assistance work for poverty alleviation and relocation in relocated areas",and "carry out a special action to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation in relocated areas".To truly break the roots of poverty and develop prosperous industries for the impoverished population,it is necessary to provide follow-up support for the relocated population,enhance their abilities and qualities,and promote their social integration.This is a key task for relocation during the 14 th Five Year Plan period.As the primary field for the relocated population to transform from farmers to citizens,urban grassroots communities are frequent spaces for formal and informal organizations,and are important carriers for studying the social integration of the relocated population.Therefore,this article chooses urban resettlement communities as the main body to study the social integration of the relocated population.Based on the positive correlation between social support theory and social integration,this article constructs an analytical framework for promoting social integration of relocated populations through social support systems.This framework mainly consists of social support subjects,social support content,and social support objects.The structural approach can be summarized as follows: multiple levels of governance entities,as formal and informal social support entities,promote the social integration of objects by providing different types of social support content,and thus form an effective path to promote the social integration of relocated populations.Firstly,this article uses literature research methods to understand the current research status of social integration of relocated populations,as well as the theories of social integration and social support at home and abroad.Secondly,during my internship in H City,Guangxi,I gained a deep understanding of the economic development situation of the city and the resettlement community in W Town.Based on this,I used field research methods to understand the governance practices of centralized W Community.Finally,the case study method is used to analyze the materials obtained from the research,and the social support theory is used to analyze how multiple governance entities provide material,information,network,and emotional social support for the economic,social,psychological,and political integration of the relocated population.In addition to effectiveness,research has found that there are still problems with the social integration of the relocated population in W community.Based on the four levels of social support provided for the relocated population in the previous text,using social support theory analysis,it is found that the reasons behind the problems are: lack of support subject construction,poor effectiveness of support content,and insufficient motivation for the development of support objects.Finally,from the perspectives of social support subjects,content,and objects,the path optimization for the social integration of relocated populations is proposed: enhancing the service awareness of neighborhood committees and strengthening the construction of social work organizations;Strengthen the government’s policy supply,improve community employment services,and improve the level of cultural propaganda;Enhance the enthusiasm of residents to participate in employment and public activities.
