According to the 49 th China Internet Development Statistics Report,as of December 2021,the number of Internet users aged 60 and above in China reached 119 million,and the Internet penetration rate of the elderly aged 60 and above reached 43.2%.It includes individuals who have flocked into the Tiktok community to create short videos.The awakening of self-awareness makes them express themselves and present themselves heartily in Tiktok.In this process,they realize the self construction of silver haired creators and complete the shaping of their self-image.This paper starts from the self construction of media image,carries out research from the characteristics and forms of the construction of media image and self construction in Tiktok,builds the visual framework of silver hair short videos based on the framework theory,carries out content analysis,focuses on the nature of the subject,behavior and type of the image construction of silver hair groups in Tiktok,and analyzes the ways of their self construction of media image.Secondly,with the in-depth interview method,we will deeply explore the image presentation of the media image of the silver hair group in Tiktok,and explore the main factors that affect the self construction of the media image of the silver hair group,including the creation of traditional images through the experience of the times,the stimulation of new images by popular culture,the creation of personalized self-image by new media content,and the construction of ideal self-image through "front stage" performance.Combining the Principles of Semiotics.Based on the semiotic theory,this paper expounds the principles and methods of the image presentation of the silver haired group by using Tiktok short videos from three aspects of new media narrative,camera language,and voice symbols.At the same time,the silver hair group also showed some problems in the image self construction and image presentation,and targeted to provide improved ideas for the development of silver hair Tiktok short video.Based on the principle of integrating theory with practice,this research also carried out a practical exploration of the self construction of silver hair image,focusing on the silver hair individual account,using the form of help,to provide technical support for the silver hair Tiktok account "Grandma",guide them to create short videos of characters,and strive to build a friendly,humorous,lovely,positive silver hair personal image in short videos.Through systematic theoretical research and practical exploration,it is concluded that under the new media environment,the theory and practical methods of self construction of silver hair groups through Tiktok short videos inject positive energy into the construction of the media image of silver hair groups.At the same time,exploring the image of silver haired group from the perspective of self construction has expanded the scope of theoretical application and research perspective,providing theoretical reference for the construction and presentation of future group images. |
