Research On The Influence Of Digital Government On High Quality Supply Of Public Service

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to ’ focus on promoting high-quality development ’.As a proposition from the perspective of highquality development,the construction of digital government can promote the high-quality development of public services to focus on the value pursuit of high quality and intelligence,and ultimately point to the two core goals of promoting the efficient integration of ’ intelligence’ and ’ governance ’ and achieving the accurate matching of ’ supply ’ and ’ demand ’.Based on this,this paper uses the entropy method to measure the level of digital government and the level of high-quality supply of public services in 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in China from 2017 to 2019,and uses empirical methods to study and analyze the mechanism and intermediary mechanism of digital government on the high-quality supply of public services.It is found that the development of digital government significantly improves the high-quality supply level of public services,and its effect shows the heterogeneity of regional and population flow direction,which is manifested in the significant positive effect on the eastern region and the population inflow area,while the central and western regions and the population outflow area have no significant effect.In terms of mechanism,digital government can improve the high-quality supply of public services by improving government governance capacity and reducing government administrative costs.Therefore,we should optimize the development environment of digital government and provide basic guarantee for the high-quality supply of public services.Improve the digital government governance model and improve the high-quality supply efficiency of public services;adopt a differentiated development strategy of digital government to promote the balanced development of public services.
