An Empirical Study On Public Satisfaction Of Online Government Services Of Guangzhou Digital Government

The construction of "digital government" is an integral part of the construction of "digital China",and is an important tool and engine for promoting the construction of "digital China",promoting high-quality socio-economic development and creating a new advantage in the business environment.In October 2019,the Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Major Issues Concerning the Adherence to and Perfection of the Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics and the Modernization of the State’s Governance System and Ability to Govern,adopted at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Party,called for "promoting the construction of digital government",signifying that the construction of digital government in China has entered a new phase.This signifies that the construction of digital government in China has entered a new stage,which is of great significance in improving the modernisation of the national governance system and governance capacity.This paper takes the construction of online government services in Guangzhou city as the research object.From the perspective of digital governance of local government,it uses literature analysis to explore the current status of digital government research and the state of public satisfaction at home and abroad,and explains the necessity of analyzing the main influencing factors of digital online government services of local government from an empirical perspective.Using the empirical research method,we analyse the factors influencing public satisfaction with the construction of online government services through a questionnaire survey,including principal components and multiple regressions,and conclude that public expectation,perceived ease of use,perceived value and perceived quality of online government services are all positively and significantly related to public satisfaction with the use of online government services,and that public satisfaction with the construction of online government services is significantly and positively related to trust in digital government.The findings also suggest that in the subsequent construction of digital government services in Guangzhou,in order to ensure that the construction of digital government services is more in line with users’ psychological expectations and actual usage,the main tendency is to increase the publicity of online government services to enhance citizens’ awareness of participating in political life;focus on improving the professionalism of government service personnel;focus on the ease of use of the system,the completeness and diversity of service contents,and introduce third-party evaluation agencies to conduct system The system should be optimized in terms of ease of use,completeness and diversity of service content,and the introduction of third-party evaluation agencies to assess the operation of the system.
