By 2020,China will achieve the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects on schedule,providing a solid social condition and material foundation for promoting common prosperity.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China has led the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang in exploring a path of development for common prosperity and made one major achievement after another.Today,Xinjiang,like the rest of China,has entered a new era,is at a new stage of development,and is confronted with new situations and problems.It has become a research topic in the new era to explore a new path to achieve common prosperity in Xinjiang.Guided by the Marxist thought of common prosperity and taking Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as the research object,this paper systematically combs the historical context of the practice and exploration of common prosperity in Xinjiang in three periods: the initial exploration period of China’s socialist construction road,the period of China’s reform and opening up and socialist modernization,and the period when socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era.Combined with the connotation and requirements of common prosperity in the new era,through the investigation of typical cases to achieve common prosperity in Xinjiang,the development status,existing paths and existing problems of promoting common prosperity in Xinjiang are analyzed,and the path selection of common prosperity in Xinjiang in the new era is explored.This paper thinks that we should explore the realization path of common prosperity in Xinjiang in the new era from three aspects: development concept,policy and system.
