Research On The Realization Path Of Common Prosperity From The Perspective Of Socialist Core Values

Looking at the development history of human society,we can draw the conclusion that the pursuit of happy life has become the fundamental driving force for the continuous development of human society,or that the sustainable development and progress of human society need two conditions,namely,the improvement of productivity(material civilization)and the improvement of ethics(spiritual civilization).Productivity provides the material basis for the development of human society,and ethics shapes the value norms for the development of human society.The material life without value norms is nothing more than the reappearance of the cruel and bloody animal world of nature,let alone the pursuit and creation of the supreme goodness of human nature and mental wisdom.Marxist anthropology believes that fairness,justice and free and all-round development are the highest value goals of human society,just like a beacon guiding the right direction of human progress.The core values of socialism reflect the essential characteristics of socialism with Chinese characteristics in nature,adapt to the reality and requirements of the primary stage of socialism with Chinese characteristics,are the "largest common denominator" of the fundamental interests of the 1.4 billion Chinese people,and are the goal and value guide of the Chinese people’s pursuit of a better life.Just as whether absolute poverty can be solved determines the quality of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,whether high-quality and high-level common prosperity can be achieved also determines the quality of building a Chinese path to modernization power in an all-round way.Therefore,common prosperity is bound to become a hard target and a tough battle for the full realization of the second centenary goal.The Central Financial Work Conference in August 2021 and the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China in October 2022 both publicly announced that "people’s lives will be better,people’s all-round development and common prosperity of all people will make more significant substantive progress",and that "common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism and an important feature of Chinese path to modernization.We should adhere to the people centered development idea and promote common prosperity in high-quality development." So,how to realize common prosperity in an all-round way in the primary stage of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the issue of the times that we should and must answer well.In view of the specific reality of contemporary China and the historical orientation of the primary stage of socialism,how to make good use of the value guidance and cohesion of the core socialist values has become a major theoretical and practical issue that cannot be bypassed.Only by clarifying the essence of common prosperity in the primary stage of socialism in terms of ideology,standardizing the social behavior of the vast majority of people in terms of value goals,and promoting the economic behavior of the government and social organizations in terms of systems and regulations,can China achieve a high level of common prosperity on the basis of achieving high-quality development.
