Research On Marxist Thought Of Common Prosperity And Its Realization In Rural China

The elimination of poverty and the achievement of common prosperity is the vision of the Chinese people in their united struggle and the unswerving pursuit of the Communist Party of China.The successive leaders of the CPC have been guided by the Marxist thought of common prosperity and have consistently worked for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the country.In particular,since the 18 th Party Congress,the country’s development and the people’s spirit have been transformed,a moderately prosperous society has been built,and solid steps have been taken on the road to common prosperity.However,it is important to recognise that the rural areas are the outstanding shortcomings of contemporary China in achieving common prosperity for all its people.It is great practical significance to study the problems and challenges of the rural areas in the process of achieving common prosperity,and to propose practical ways and measures to better promote the development of rural areas and truly achieve common prosperity for all people.Firstly,the thesis compares the formation and core demands of the Marxist idea of common prosperity.It includes the background of Marx’s and Engels’ ideas on common prosperity,their anti-poverty ideas based on their critical analysis of capitalist society,their ideas on common prosperity based on their scientific vision of a better society in the future,and their writings on the development of prosperity in rural areas.Secondly,the thesis summarizes the development of the Chinese version of the Marxist idea of common prosperity.It mainly covers the inheritance and application of the Marxist idea of common prosperity by the Communists Party of China in the early stages of revolution and construction,its innovation and deepening in the new period of reform and opening up,and its refinement and enrichment in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Thirdly,the thesis explores the realization of the Marxist idea of common prosperity in the contemporary Chinese rural arena.It discusses the evaluation indicators for measuring common prosperity in rural areas in terms of both affluence and sharing,and analyses and proposes a promising picture for achieving this goal in the future.Then,the thesis summarises the real-life dilemmas facing the achievement of common prosperity in contemporary China’s rural areas.From three perspectives,including the need to improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural production,the shortcomings in the construction of a livable and productive rural area,and the unrealised wealth and prosperity of farmers,the thesis identifies the rural development challenges that still need to be solved on the basis of the existing foundation.Finally,the thesis discusses the practical path of promoting the rural areas to achieve common prosperity under the guidance of Marxist thought of common prosperity in contemporary China.In view of the specific problems existing in rural development,the corresponding solutions are put forward.First,the centralized and unified leadership of the Party to ensure common prosperity for the people;Second,we will promote high-quality and efficient development of agriculture to lay a solid material foundation for common prosperity.Third,it is necessary to promote common prosperity in both material and spiritual life and help famers gradually move towards a prosperous life.Fourth,we will promote the digital technology empowering rural construction and make this villages livable,suitable for employment and more beautiful.
