Study On The Degree And Influencing Factors Of Rural Hollowing Out In Anhui County Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

The Communist Party of China(CPC)said in its 20 th report that it will comprehensively promote rural revitalization and actively consolidate and expand the achievements in poverty alleviation.Although from the theoretical system of western economics,urbanization and industrialization,the population and industry agglomeration and its reverse "rural hollowing" are the basic laws of economic development,the red line of cultivated land is adhered to to ensure food security.It is an important part of the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics to alleviate the aging of the rural population and the employment of migrant workers,and promote farmers to live and work in peace and contentment so as to achieve common prosperity.Therefore,how to effectively alleviate the problem of rural hollowing is a major issue that needs to be solved in contemporary social and economic development.Based on the background of China’s rural revitalization,60 county economies in Anhui Province were selected as research objects in this thesis.With the help of statistical analysis software such as Arc Gis,SPSS and Stata,entropy method and multiple stepwise regression analysis were used to comprehensively and systematically study the dynamic changes,regional differentiation characteristics and influencing factors of county rural hollowing in Anhui Province.On this basis,this thesis discusses the governance strategies of rural hollowing,in order to provide useful reference for the relevant decision-making departments of rural hollowing governance.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows: First,the comprehensive hollowing degree of rural areas in Anhui Province is increasing year by year,and the regional characteristics are significant.From the point of view of land hollowing,the middle Anhui and southern Anhui are mainly dominated by high and high land hollowing.From the point of view of population hollowing,there is no significant difference in the degree of population hollowing among counties in Anhui Province,but the counties with low population hollowing are mainly concentrated in southern Anhui Province,while the counties with high population hollowing are mainly concentrated in northern Anhui Province.Generally speaking,the degree and scope of rural hollowing in each county area of Anhui Province expanded during 2014-2020.Secondly,through the multiple stepped-regression analysis of the influencing factors of rural hollowing in counties of Anhui Province,it is found that,from a qualitative point of view,rural population loss and long-term stagnation of farmers’ per capita net income are the leading factors that cause the increasing degree of rural hollowing in counties of Anhui Province.The change of economic development level and regional economic structure of each county is beneficial to reverse the development trend of rural hollowing.On the other hand,from the quantitative point of view,there are certain differences in the intensity and mode of action of each influencing factor,but in general,the population level and the economic level are the most important factors,while the land level is not significant.The research conclusion of this thesis has some policy implications.In dealing with the problem of rural hollowing in counties of Anhui province,the universality and regularity of the phenomenon of rural hollowing and the particularity of the problem of rural hollowing in different types and regions of Anhui province must be recognized scientifically,and the heterogeneity of economic development and resource endowment in counties of Anhui province must be fully combined.Strengthen investment attraction in agricultural field,give full play to scale economy effect,Strengthen the implementation of policy publicity,administrative punishment system to protect the bottom,To fully investigate the heterogeneity of county development and avoid a one-size-fits-all policy to effectively deal with the problem of land hollowing in each county of Anhui Province,Secondly,by following the law of economic development,the population is guided to return or inflow;Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship,cultivating professional "new farmers" and other measures effectively deal with the problem of population hollowing in each county of Anhui Province.Finally,promote coordinated development between urban and rural areas by improving agricultural productivity;Promoting industrial integration and constructing modern agricultural service industry are some countermeasures to effectively deal with the economic hollowing out in Anhui Province.
