Research On Xi Jinping Thought On The Rule Of Law Education In College And Universities

Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and it is the fundamental guiding ideology to promote the construction of socialist rule of law.For the first time,the Party’s Report to the 20 th CPC National Congress discussed the rule of law as a special chapter and made special arrangements,which reflected that the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core attached great importance to comprehensively governing the country according to law and building a China ruled by law.As the first place to cultivate talents under the rule of law,colleges and universities should persist in educating people for the party and the country,and give full play to the important role of key elements such as courses and teachers.Colleges and universities should constantly enrich college students’ legal knowledge,enhance their awareness and accomplishment of the rule of law,enable them to form their thinking of the rule of law,and enhance their sense of identity with the rule of law in Socialism with Chinese characteristics.The full text begins with the introduction and includes the following three parts:Firstly,it summarizes the relevant theories.First of all,the related concepts such as"law","law",legal system" and "rule of law" are defined.Secondly,it expounds the formation of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law from three aspects: Marxist thought of rule of law,China’s thought of rule of law during the period of revolution,construction and reform,and Chinese excellent traditional culture of rule of law.Finally,it discusses the significance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law education.Secondly,it analyzes the present situation.In recent years,with the joint efforts of education authorities,party committees and teachers,Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law education in colleges and universities has achieved remarkable results,which are mainly manifested in the following aspects: Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law has been initially incorporated into the teaching system of colleges and universities,the ability of teachers to educate by law has been improved,and the educational methods have become increasingly diverse.However,it can not be ignored that there are still some problems,which are manifested in the incomplete teaching system,insufficient practical teaching,and teachers’ rule of law literacy to be improved.On this basis,this paper further analyzes the reasons for these problems: the lack of teachers’ rule of law education,the bad influence of network environment and the lack of practical education mechanism for college students’ rule of law.Thirdly,the countermeasures to improve the education are put forward.Learning is the premise of teaching.First of all,college teachers should fully and accurately understand the great significance,core essence and scientific methods of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law.Secondly,colleges and universities should carry out curriculum reform and build a systematic curriculum system,including ideological and political courses,legal courses and other professional courses of philosophy and social sciences,so as to improve the effect of classroom teaching.Thirdly,colleges and universities should strengthen the construction of teachers,constantly improve teachers’ belief in the rule of law,enhance teachers’ educational and teaching ability,and build a high-quality team of teachers.Finally,colleges and universities should give full play to the important functions of new media,campus activities and social practice resources in the education of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,and promote the integration of ideological and political small classes into social large classes.
