The rule of law guarantees the development of China’s economy,society,cultural life and democratic politics in all aspects,and is the fundamental criterion of our Party’s governance.Legal publicity and education is an important way to establish college students’ belief in the rule of law,and its value orientation is closely related to what kind of rule of law college students believe in.Since the 18 th Party Congress,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,has grasped the important historical opportunity of China’s development,focused on the strategic layout of comprehensively promoting the rule of law,actively promoted the strategic deployment of the rule of law,thoroughly studied the ancient Chinese rule of law thought on the basis of adhering to the basic view of historical materialism,kept pace with the times,kept the righteousness and innovation,continuously explored practice,tested and sublimated in practice,and created the Xi Jinping thought on rule of law,which has achieved a new historical leap in the theory and practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics,manifesting the practical creativity and theoretical vitality of scientific theories.This paper adheres to Marxist theories,views and methods,insists on the practical situation as the starting point,focuses on the publicity and education of rule of law in colleges and universities,systematically studies and sorts out the basic theories of promoting the publicity and education of Xi Jinping thought on rule of law in colleges and universities,dialectically analyzes countermeasures from the main body of colleges and universities,college students themselves,communication carriers and social environment.In the introductory part,the researcher will present a comprehensive analysis of the problems in the process of promoting Xi Jinping thought on rule of law.In the introductory part,through describing the background and significance of the research,sorting
