Research On Community Voluntary Service In S City From The Perspective Of Community Governance

Under the new historical conditions,the construction of urban communities in China is facing new challenges.The 14 th Five-Year Plan proposes that the status of volunteer service and its positive function in community and rural governance should be highlighted in grassroots governance,which has received great attention and support from party committees and governments at all levels.Community volunteer service plays a positive role in enriching social governance resources,cohesion of social exchanges,and promotion of grassroots democracy,because it originates from the people and maintains close contact with the deep-seated needs of the people,so it can enhance residents’ awareness of participation,thus forming a social atmosphere of mutual assistance among neighbors.Improving community volunteer services is of great significance to improving residents’ awareness of public services,enhancing community identity,and promoting residents’ self-governance.Therefore,this paper studies community volunteer service in S City from the perspective of community governance,which enriches the relevant research content of community governance.In order to understand the current situation of community volunteer service in S City,analyze its existing problems and the causes of problems,this paper uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview methods to obtain relevant research materials,and organizes and classifies them.Through the study,it is found that in the process of continuous development and progress,the content and form of community volunteer service in S City are also constantly enriched,and the forms of residents’ participation,participation fields,willingness to participate,and participation channels have undergone earth-shaking changes.Even so,from the analysis of the current situation of community volunteer service in S City,there are still a large number of problems hindering its development,mainly including insufficient enthusiasm of residents to participate in volunteer service,serious administrative tendency of community volunteer service,mismatch between supply and demand,shortage of funds,and lack of normalized community volunteer service activities.The main reasons for this are the low degree of organization of community volunteer service,insufficient coordination between subjects,single financing channels and lack of relevant institutional guarantees,which have caused the low efficiency of community volunteer service.In order to improve community volunteer service in S City,this paper puts forward countermeasures such as stimulating the intrinsic motivation of community volunteer service,giving play to the synergy of multiple subjects,broadening the channels for obtaining volunteer service funds,and improving the community volunteer service work system,so as to provide reference suggestions for achieving good results in community governance.
