A Study On Volunteer Motivation In Community B Of City H

In recent years,the pace of China’s progress and development has been accelerating.Community B in city H is located in northeastern China,and due to its geographical location and the level of economic development of the whole province,the level of community governance and community volunteer development is not as high as that of big cities.With the construction and development of communities throughout the country,Community B is actively acting under the leadership of the Party and the state,and currently has two stable teams of community volunteers as well as community volunteer teams that are recruited on an ad hoc basis in the event of emergencies.Various agencies and units also form community volunteer teams to volunteer on a regular basis.They have made excellent contributions in the areas of elderly care,medical care,epidemic prevention and control within the B community.However,there are still some problems,especially for the motivation of community volunteers to participate in volunteer activities.Therefore,there is an urgent need to take strong measures to improve the ability and level of motivating community volunteers to participate in volunteer services,especially to develop targeted countermeasures according to the characteristics of community volunteers,to focus on stimulating the intrinsic motivation of community volunteers to participate in community volunteer activities,and to strive to combine and unify internal and external motivating factors,as well as to focus on the various health care incentives for community volunteers,which cannot always consume their volunteer enthusiasm.We should focus on continuously improving the quality,efficiency and level of community volunteers’ participation in volunteer services.Based on the two-factor theory proposed by Herzberg in 1959,this paper analyzes the problems in the process of community volunteer motivation through literature research method,case study method,questionnaire survey method and field interview method,and takes community volunteers in H city B as the research object,and analyzes the problems in the process of community volunteer motivation by reviewing relevant literature and field survey interview,mainly focusing on insufficient motivation for self-development of community volunteers,low social status of community We analyzed the causes of the problems from two aspects,namely,the lack of professional training for community volunteers,the difficulty of satisfying the deep needs of community volunteers in the motivation method,the lack of obvious effect of community volunteers’ publicity,the unstable source of funds,and the lack of the motivation of community volunteers.On the basis of careful analysis of the facts,we propose to strengthen the professional training for community volunteers,improve the incentive measures for community volunteers,increase the publicity to improve the social status of community volunteers,increase the financial guarantee for community volunteers,and strengthen the construction of the legal system of community volunteers and the implementation of relevant policies.measures.The position of community volunteers in the national governance system is becoming more and more important,and the role they can play is getting bigger and bigger.Therefore,they need to be given the necessary attention.The ideas in this thesis may be immature and need further in-depth study.
