| The instructors of the Young Pioneers group are the backbone of carrying out the education of the Young Pioneers,and they bear the responsibility and mission of political enlightenment and value shaping for children.Therefore,the political quality,professional competence,and the educational effects achieved by the instructors in performing their duties play a supporting role in the smooth development of the education of the Young Pioneers.Currently,there has been a gradual increase in research on the subject of Chinese Young Pioneers counselors,but the research field on constructing an evaluation index system for Young Pioneers squad counselors is still blank.This study is based on the theories of teacher professional development,systems theory,and the iceberg model theory.Relevant policy documents,research literature,speeches by leaders,and interviews with Young Pioneers squad counselors were used as references to preliminarily construct an evaluation index system for Young Pioneers squad counselors.Based on this system,the "Delphi Expert Consultation Form for Evaluation Index System of Young Pioneers Squad Counselors" was developed.By adopting the expert consultation method,opinions and suggestions about the indicator system were solicited from experts.Eventually,the evaluation indicator system for the Young Pioneers’squad counselors was revised and established,which includes three primary indicators:political quality,professional competence,and job performance,as well as 12 secondary indicators and 37 tertiary indicators.In order to further improve the scientificity of the indicator system,this study prepared the"Weighting Expert Consultation Questionnaire for Evaluation Indicators of Young Pioneers’ Squad Counselors" and consulted experts again to obtain the weight judgment matrix for each level of evaluation indicators.The weight coefficients of each level of indicators were calculated using the analytic hierarchy process.Finally,based on the evaluation indicator system for the Young Pioneers’ squad counselors,,a questionnaire was designed and distributed to and collected from the squad counselors in Y City,Ningxia,verifying the feasibility of the evaluation indicator system and analyzing the research conclusion that the Young Pioneers’ squad counselors in Y City,Ningxia performed well in the three aspects of political quality,professional competence,and job performance.Finally,the shortcomings of this study and prospects for future research are presented,providing reference and inspiration for further studies on the evaluation indicator system for Young Pioneers’ squad counselors. |
