Gender inequality in the labour market is an important socioeconomic problem in many countries and gender discrimination is an important cause of this inequality.Existing research suggests that gender discrimination may have bad affects on women employment opportunities, career paths, wages and other aspects, which also has an important impact on socioeconomic efficiency and equity.Although series of policies have been done by government to protect the rights and interests of female workers, the problem of gender discrimination still exists to some extent. At present,China is facing a severe problem of population aging. In order to alleviate this realistic crisis, the government has gradually relaxed the birth policy, which has promoted the optimization of the population structure to a certain extent. However, according to the seventh national census data,China’s fertility rate continues to decline. As the total fertility rate reaching the historical lowest level of1.3,China may fall into the very low fertility rate divided by the international academic community. With the fertility rate is far from policy expectations, some scholars believe that the work pressure on female employees may be an important factor which lead to this situation. With the implementation of the two-child policy, companies may consider that female employees may need to spend more time raising their children, and intensify gender discrimination against female employees. To test whether this phenomenon exists, this paper based on the widely influenced two-child policy, use the two-child policy(two-child policy mentioned in this article refers to the nationwide implementation of "separate two child policy" and "comprehensive two-child policy")implementation point as a node of double difference to research birth pressure.at the same time,Based on data availability and contradictory centrality,In this paper, the high knowledge and high intensity high pressure group is taken as the observation object,Studying the impact of the two-child policy on female analysts’ forecasts,The empirical results show that:(1)after the implementation of the two-child policy,Total jobs for female analysts of childbearing age,A decrease in the number of companies concerned and the number of research reports published;(2)Affected by policies,The quality of surplus forecasts for female analysts of childbearing age has declined significantly,Falling quality of work;(3)Further explore the influence of analysts’ personal ability and the nature and geographical factors of the property rights of securities companies,The conclusion is consistent with the expectations;(4)The results of robustness test of with replacement variables, shorten the window period, expanding the sample of the study and PSM are consistent with the master hypothesis, which verify the robustness of the conclusions of this paper. This paper provides new evidence to explain the behavior of analysts from the perspective of occupational stress, thus enriching the relevant literature of analysts. At the same time, the findings of this paper show that while reforming the birth policy, women objectively increase the occupational pressure and gender discrimination, which may be an important reason why the implementation of the two-child policy is not as effective as expected. This is to further formulate targeted policies,to promote the implementation of the birth policy, has a certain policy reference role.
