Research On The Improvement Of Service Quality For Veteran Cadres From The Perspective Of Active Aging

The improvement of the service quality of veteran cadres is a hot topic in the field of public administration.Veteran cadres have made great contributions to national development and social progress in the past,and are valuable assets of the Chinese Communist Party and the country.Since 2015,the team structure of retired veteran cadres has undergone significant changes.The number of veteran cadres who participated in revolutionary wars before the founding of China,out of work and enjoyed the benefits of the supply system,and engaged in underground revolutionary work,has dropped sharply and has entered a high age and high incidence period,while the numbers of veteran cadres who worked in the government after the founding of China has continued to increase.The thoughts and needs of veteran cadres have also changed dramatically with economic and social changes.For the service management department of veteran cadres,in addition to implementing relevant policies and treatment,to improve the service quality of veteran cadres,let the society view the problem of population aging with a "positive" attitude,let the veteran cadres truly feel the care and warmth of the party and the government,and enjoy a happy old age,is of great significance to promoting the harmonious and healthy development of society.This paper adopts participant observation,questionnaire survey and interview and other research methods.From the perspective of active aging,combined with active aging theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and new public service theory,taking the service quality of veteran cadres in Foshan City as an example,this paper aims to satisfy the health,social participation,and safeguard of veteran cadres from a "positive" attitude.Starting from the needs of security and other aspects,based on the questionnaire survey and interviews on the service quality of veteran cadres in Foshan City,the old cadres’ living conditions and the problems and causes existing in the service are analyzed,including the large gap and imbalance between the demand and supply quality of health services,enthusiasm for social participation and the output effect,software and hardware construction and the expected environment.Based on the advanced experience of improving the service quality of veteran cadres in other cities,it is proposed that the service management department of veteran cadres should improve the service quality of veteran cadres by improving the health service system,improving the social participation service path,and improving service guarantee measures for veteran cadres.To make veteran cadres “teach,learn,enjoy and do with the old.”...
