Research On The Spiritual And Cultural Life Service Of Veteran Cadres In The New Era

Entering a new era,our country’s population aging problem becomes more serious.In order to actively meet this challenge,the central and local governments have made a lot of efforts to ensure that the elderly have access to care,medical care,activities,learning,education and happiness.Veteran cadres are a small number of special existence in the elderly group.Before retiring,many of them played a more important role in the unit,with extensive connections and higher social status.Therefore,their endowment resources are relatively rich.At the same time,they have higher cultural accomplishment and extensive interests.In the premise of material life is guaranteed,they have a higher pursuit of spiritual and cultural life.Combined with the requirements of "Work diligently for retirement" "Enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the people" in the twenty major reports,this paper explains the concepts of veteran cadres,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and active aging,and points out the important significance of strengthening the spiritual and cultural life service of veteran cadres in the new era.Then,select TY city as the research object,from the perspective of holding activities,organizing research,carrying out anti-fraud lectures,promoting health and other aspects of the city in the spiritual and cultural life service work made innovation practice,as well as senior cadres in driving the economy,caring for the next generation,participation in grassroots governance,help epidemic prevention and control and other aspects of remarkable effect.Through the analysis,the problems in the life service work of veteran cadres are sorted out,such as low participation in activities,monotonous form of organization activities and insufficient influence on the publicity of activities.these problems are caused by the lack of understanding of the importance and service ability of veteran cadres departments and staff.Finally,from improving the service level of the old cadres,improving the ideological and political consciousness of the old cadres,the paper puts forward reasonable countermeasures on strengthening the service of the spiritual and cultural life of the old cadres in the new era,and provides reference for promoting development of the old cadres in the new era.
