For a long time,international Chinese language education volunteers have been a team that has always used language as a link to spread Chinese culture and enhance communication and friendship between China and other countries,and the content of their training has always reflected the needs of the times and constantly adapted to the new situation and new tasks of Chinese culture and Chinese language dissemination.In recent years,the New Crown epidemic has caused a spatial isolation of people.The training of international Chinese language education volunteers is mainly based on developed Internet technology,and the traditional offline training methods for international Chinese language education volunteers have been innovated,making online training gradually become a common trend in the field of education and training.With the continuous development of information technology,the advantages of online training will become more prominent,and while breaking the defects of online training,online training will become the future trend of international Chinese language education volunteer training in the future.Therefore,the study of online training at the present stage will be an important guidance and reference for the progress and development of the training of international Chinese language education volunteers and online training in the future.This study takes the online training for international Chinese language education volunteers conducted by the training centers of Beijing Language and Culture University and Zhejiang Normal University in 2022 as a case study.The current situation of online training in the two universities is outlined in terms of the basic situation,schedule,training management,assessment and evaluation,training content,and teaching methods,and then it is found that the current online training has the characteristics of time and space flexibility,resource sharing,and learning autonomy.Based on the visualized questionnaire data and interview results,we conducted a comprehensive study and concluded that the online training has achieved three results:the successful transformation of the identity of the training participants,the rapid improvement of the volunteers’ abilities,and the accumulation of experience for future online training.The online training has been successful in three aspects: the successful transformation of the identity of the training participants,the rapid improvement of the volunteers’ abilities,and the accumulation of experience for future online training.However,there are also some problems with the online training.The author analyzes the problems from both the training center and the individual volunteers’ perspectives and,based on the previous study,makes suggestions to improve the current online training from a practical point of view,proposing parallel long-and short-term online training,strengthening online organization and management,supplementing teaching resources,adjusting the course structure,optimizing online teaching methods,and improving evaluation methods.I hope that these suggestions can contribute to the future development of online training for international Chinese education volunteers and research in this field.
