A Study On The Ci Selection Of Longyusheng

Long Yusheng was a great poet in the period of the Republic of China.He devoted all his life to the study of Ci and edited a rich selection of CI works.Using the methods of quantitative analysis and comparative research,this paper demonstrates the five anthologies of long Yusheng from the perspectives of compilation purpose,style,source selection and value orientation,respectively.Long Yusheng believes that there is a great relationship between CI and music,and the biggest difference between CI and poetry lies in music.He also believes that "praising acoustics" is one of the purposes of its compilation,no matter what kind of words are selected.The musicality of long Yusheng’s Ci poems is also a preparation for his creation of new style music and songs.He advocates that we should not only select the words in ancient poetry,but also absorb modern words,and then integrate them with rhythm and tone.Only in this way can we create new style lyrics that are loved by modern people and inherit the tradition.In this way,long Yusheng created many popular songs.Combined with the changes of the times,the influence of public opinion and other factors,this paper also demonstrates the reasons for the changes of the old and new versions and sources of the selected works of famous poets in the Tang and Song Dynasties and the selected works of famous poets in recent300 years,and makes a horizontal comparison between the selected works of Longyu’s new CI and the 300 poems of Song Dynasty by his teacher Zhu zumou and ye gongchuo’s Ci in Guangxiang at the same time,The anthologies of long Yusheng himself in different periods are compared vertically.Long Yusheng inherited and carried forward Zhu zumou’s view of Ci and compiled Mengchuang CI Xuan Jian.Most of his ci works were "virtual and real",respected objective facts and did not over explain CI works.The anthology of Tang,Five Dynasties and Song Ci and the anthology of Tang and five pronouns reflect that long Yusheng pays attention to the source of CI style and the construction of ci history.This paper discusses long Yusheng’s view of CI anthology through the multi angle discussion of the five CI anthologies,investigates the inheritance of his ci anthology under the background of traditional CI studies in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and studies the creativity of his ci anthology from the trend of CI modernization in the period of the Republic of China,reflecting his broad academic vision.
