The homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese exert a certain influence on the Chinese learning of Japanese-speaking learners.By applying the positive transfer effect between homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese in a rational manner, the learners’ efficiency in learning can be significantly enhanced, while any improper application may result in erroneous learning.Leveraging the advanced mobile network information technology and intelligent terminal devices that have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, this study selected homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese from the fourth-level vocabulary of the "International Chinese Education Chinese Proficiency Level Standards" as research objects.Through a comparative analysis of the homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese, this study designed different exercises targeting various types of homophonic words in order to enhance the efficiency of vocabulary learning for Japanese learners of Chinese. In the beginning, the study synthesized and summarized the current research status of homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese, and established a standard for the definition and classification of homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese based on this synthesis.Using this standard, the homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese from the fourth-level vocabulary outline were subjected to a statistical analysis, which revealed 580 sets of homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese.Among these sets,271 comprised homophonic synonyms, accounting for 46.72% of the total words;263comprised homophonic near-synonyms,accounting for 44.31% of the total words;and 46 comprised homophonic polysemous words, accounting for 8.96% of the total words. This study demonstrates the feasibility of designing learning content based on different types of homophonic words in Chinese and Japanese through classification and comparative analysis of the fourth-level vocabulary.Based on this, the study designed different types of exercise questions and example sentences for various types of homophonic words, and developed a We Chat mini-program for learning HSK vocabulary, which was evaluated for effectiveness through a controlled experimental study. The results showed that the designed We Chat mini-program had a significant impact on the learning efficiency of Japanese learners of Chinese. This research provides a reference for future country-specific teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
