Following the Reform and opening up,Chinese music education has been on the right track and has begun to develop rapidly.As a result,music educators felt a historical responsibility to engage in vigorous research on music education after a decade of catastrophe.During this time,the discipline of Solfeggio also saw rapid development.Musical hearing development is most rapid and refined in childhood.Children have good perception,agile and intelligent,and also good at imitation,making it an excellent opportunity to teaching the musical Intonation.The systematic teaching of Solfeggio to children during this period is beneficial to the development of their hearing musicianship and mostly the overall improvement of their musicianship.Despite this,coursebooks provide specific information and content for teaching.Children’s Solfeggio coursebook is for developing and improving the overall level of children’s Solfeggio according to the objectives of the children’s Solfeggio curriculum and the syllabus.Therefore,choosing a quality children’s coursebook is the first step in targeting children’s Solfeggio teaching.This article takes the development of Children’s Solfeggio materials since the reform and opening-up as the starting point of research,with the development of Children’s Solfeggio materials as the main research object.The main body of the article will categorize the collected materials into three periods based on the timeline: the exploration period,the development period,and the improvement period.Each period of the development of children’s teaching materials for Solfeggio is analyzed in terms of text form,text content analysis,and text presentation to form a chronology.In addition,the paper will add a horizontal extension to the historical lineage by selecting a few representative textbooks from each period for specific analysis.Through these analysis of existed textbook for children’s Solfeggio,this paper will not only just reveal the development of children’s Solfeggio materials since the economic reform and opening up,but also allow for reflection and outlook in the process of continuous exploration in teaching field.It is hoped that this study will provide a basis for the selection and use of textbook for children’s Solfeggio,and provide some instruction for textbook witting in the future,thus further improving the quality of teaching and the quality of teaching materials,and level up the research on children’s Solfeggio teaching.
