Since 1988,the Philosophy Institute of Comenius University of Slovakia opened Sinology major,Slovakia has opened three Confucius Institutes and two Confucius Classrooms.Among them,one Confucius Institute and two Confucius Classrooms are set up in Banska bystrica in the central part of Slovakia,and Chinese teaching radiates about one third of the territory of Slovakia.One belt,one road initiative and the 16+1 cooperation mechanism between China and central and Eastern Europe,the Sino Russian cooperation has been deepened.Chinese teaching and Chinese teaching of science and technology have entered the GMK bilingual middle school in Banska Bystrica city.Referring to the preparatory education mode of studying in China,GMK offers the general Chinese course in the first stage of middle school,and the Chinese course of science and technology in the second stage.GMK bilingual middle school has become the only middle school in Slovakia to offer the Chinese course and the Chinese course of science and technology.Taking GMK bilingual middle school as an example,this paper makes a systematic investigation on the situation of Chinese teaching and Chinese teaching of scientific and technology in this middle school,targeting the reflectance of present Chinese teaching stage and the development trend of Chinese for scientific and technological in the whole city of Banska Bystrica.Based on the classroom observation and teaching experience in GMK,the author uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview to investigate and analyze the situation of Chinese teaching and Chinese teaching of science and technological in this middle school.According to the investigation and analysis,GMK bilingual middle school has the following problems: 1.Towards the scientific and technologic Chinese teaching course,Chinese physical education and culture is unreasonable;2.The number of ordinary Chinese textbooks is insufficient,and the compilation of Chinese for science and technology is difficult;3.The learning motivation of senior students is insufficient;4.The mobility of teachers is large and so on.In view of these problems,the author puts forward constructive opinions and suggestions from the aspects of curriculum,teaching materials,teaching,students and schools.
