“Li(里)”is one of the common words used to express spatial categories in Chinese,and it is also one of the key words for international students to learn.According to statistics,the error rate of its use is as high as 7%.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct further research on it.In previous studies,scholars have studied the orientation word "li" from the perspectives of grammar and semantics,comparative analysis and error analysis,but there are few researches on the teaching grammar of “li(里)”,and the teaching suggestions put forward lack practicality.In order to strengthen students’ understanding of “li(里)”and reduce the error rate of its use,this paper will study the location word “li(里)” based on the theory of “Trinitarian Grammar”.At the same time,using the error analysis method to analyze the error corpus when the location word “li(里)”is used in the corpus.The first part of this paper is the introduction,which introduces the background and research significance of the thesis,and briefly explains the description and interpretation analysis,qualitative and quantitative analysis,and bias analysis used in this paper.In addition,the first part focuses on analyzing the research status of the location word “li(里)”,and makes a overview from the two aspects of ontology research and international Chinese teaching research.It is found that there are still few studies on the teaching grammar of the location word “li(里)” and error analysis single problem.Finally,the first part gives a detailed introduction to the theoretical basis of the thesis—“Trinitarian Grammar”.Based on the research on the ontology of the location word “li(里)”,this paper firstly summarizes “li(里)” from the perspectives of syntax and semantics.Syntactically,“li(里)” can act as the subject,object,adverbial and attributive of a sentence;semantically,“li(里)” has the meaning of space,scope,time,reference and direction.Secondly,based on the syntactic and semantic analysis of “li(里)”,combined with teaching,the thesis analyzes “Trinitarian Grammar ” of “li(里)”.The formal structure of the orientation word “li(里)” is mainly“A+li(里)” and “preposition+A+li(里)”,and the structure has three main functions: one is to indicate the place where an object exists or an event occurs;the second is to indicate the time limit;The third is to express scope;it is often used in the context of place,scope and time.In addition,the dissertation researches on the misuse of the orientation word “li(里)”.This part is mainly based on the corpus students use the location word “li(里)” to conduct research.This paper adopts a new angle to classify the orientation word “li(里)”,and describes in detail the use errors of the form structure and structure function of “li(里)”.The errors mainly include omission,wrong addition and misuse type.The influencing factors of bias formation include target language,mother tongue,teachers’ teaching methods,students’ learning strategies,teaching material content and teaching environment.Finally,from the perspectives of teachers and students,this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions for the orientation word “li(里)”.In teaching,teachers need to pay attention to nationalized teaching,appropriately supplement grammar items,and pay attention to the teaching of frame structure.Students should also adopt correct learning strategies in the learning process,establish a positive attitude,and earnestly complete the exercises after class.At the same time,according to the teaching principle of “Trinitarian Grammar” theory,this paper designs a teaching plan for the orientation word “li(里)”.
