Modal words have always been the most important part of teaching Chinese as a Foreign language.Trinitarian Grammar is a new second language teaching theory put forward by Feng Shengli(1998),which mainly includes the formal structure of sentences, the function of structure and the typical context of function. It is a new attempt to use this new teaching theory to study the modal word. This paper takes the modal word "Ne" as the research content and "Trinitarian Grammar" as the theoretical framework to carry on the teaching experiment research to the Polish primary Chinese level learnerThe main innovations of this study:Firstly, innovation in the research object. In the present study on the modal word "Ne ",the research object is mainly focused on the learners whose mother tongue is Japanese,Korean,English and so on.This paper takes the modal word "Ne" as the research content and the students in Poland as the research object, which can make up for the shortcomings of the existing research to some extent.Secondly, innovation in experimental methods. This paper analyzes the modal word "Ne" by using the theory of "Trinitarian Grammar ",and applies the theory to the classroom teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Based on this theory,a questionnaire is designed.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire, the practical effect of the teaching grammar theory is tested. Our research subjects are 15 college students and one teacher at the Krakow Confucius Institute in Poland. The age of these students is 20-26 years old and the age of the teachers is 35 years old. They are all zero-start Chinese learners.Through the comparison and quantitative analysis of Trinitarian Grammar and traditional teaching method,it is found that Trinitarian Grammar can improve the teaching effect of modal word.As a new teaching grammar theory,Trinitarian Grammar needs more empirical research to test its validity and country applicability. Therefore,it is hoped that this study can be used for reference and inspiration for teachers, engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future. |
