During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Qin ’an County had five attempts to cultivate ambition. Two of them have been lost.Existing(Jiajing)Records of Qin ’an County,(Daoguang)Records of Qin ’an County,(Guangxu)Records of Qin ’an County.By sorting out the compilation source, revised form and main content of the three annals, the value contained in them is shown. The existing three local records of Qin ’an County have both commonalities and their own characteristics.First of all, compared with the Ming Dynasty, the compilation of local records in the Qing Dynasty formed a pattern of extensive participation of local literati such as county magistrate, discipline and county students.Secondly, the style of records in the Qing Dynasty was adjusted and innovated on the basis of inheriting the local records of the Ming Dynasty.Thirdly, the three records are based on a wide range of materials, not only citing Yu Gong,Han Shu and other historical documents, but also collecting the contents of local records, anthologies and provincial records. Finally, the three Chronicles are in the same vein in terms of content, focusing on investigation and interview, citing classics and history. The contents cover the historical evolution of Qin ’an County, land conditions and landforms, land products, culture and education, customs and etiquette, local entry and other aspects. It has the historical functions of history, administration and education. On the whole, the three departments of the Ming and Qing dynasties of Qin ’an County Chronicles have complete stylistic structure, detailed and hierarchical Settings of articles and items, and pay attention to changes due to the revolution. However, there are also shortcomings such as chaotic use of genre, missing of some contents and unknown sources of historical materials.
