| Chinese local records are famous for their long history and large quantity.With rich and detailed information,they have been attached great importance by experts and scholars in all aspects,both ancient and modern.Some people call them "cultural mines",while others call them "information repositories" from the perspective of information storage and transmission.After reading Local Records of Fenghua County and Lishu County,and understanding their detailed descriptions in politics,economy,culture,evolution,products and other aspects,the author decided to draw up a project of his own to sort out and study local records of Lishu County in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,and at the same time apply the knowledge of philology,library science,history and other fields.The historical geography of Lishu County in this period and the situation of mountain and river products were studied and explored.Taking two local records of Lishu County in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China as the research object,this paper expounds the research purpose and significance of Fenghua County Local Records and Lishu County Local Records,the current research status,research methods and innovation,etc.Secondly,this paper combs the theoretical basis of the study of local Chronicles collation,and summarizes the background of the two books,the author’s life and compilation style.After that,this paper uses the methods of literature collection,comparative research and combination of historical theories to summarize the main contents of the Local Records of Fenghua County and the Local Records of Lishu County,and compares the contents.At the same time,it refers to the records of Fenghua County and other records about Fenghua.The author further excavates the sources of some historical information in Fenghua County Local Records and Lishu County Local Records,and explains the problems existing in some contents of the records.Then the value and deficiency of Fenghua County Local Records and Lishu County Local Records are discussed,and the historical and practical significance of the two local records are summarized.Finally,this paper summarizes the research work of the full text. |
