| CBI(content based instruction)means content based teaching method.CBI teaching method can be divided into five teaching modes,namely immersion mode,protected mode,auxiliary mode,theme mode and content practice mode.The CBI thematic model is a teaching model centered around themes.Teachers combine language and content,imparting language knowledge while comprehensively training students’ language skills.The author applies the CBI theme model to elementary Chinese comprehensive courses and believes that teachers teach around themes,immersing students in real language environments,improving learners’ Chinese communication skills,stimulating students’ interest in learning,and achieving ideal classroom effects.This article is based on the CBI theme model as the theoretical foundation,and conducts teaching design for Lesson 14,Spring Festival,Volume 5 of "Easy Learning Chinese".The first chapter is an introduction,mainly including the reasons for choosing the topic,the research content framework,and relevant literature review.The second chapter mainly analyzes the connotation and characteristics of the CBI theme model,and discusses the feasibility of applying the CBI theme model to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course in combination with the practice of the CBI theme model in Chinese as a foreign language.Chapter 3 is the specific teaching design plan.Mainly from the perspective of combining the text and theme,the teaching content is divided into four parts: "Spring Festival Story","Spring Festival Culture","Spring Festival Folk Customs",and "Spring Festival Diet",in order to carry out specific teaching process design.Chapter 4 is teaching evaluation and reflection.We mainly used various methods such as interview,observation,questionnaire survey,written and oral tests to evaluate teaching and learning effectiveness.Based on the evaluation results and combined with teaching practice,the shortcomings of this teaching design were reflected on,and specific teaching suggestions were proposed: firstly,to organically combine language and content;secondly,to focus on the balanced development of listening,speaking,reading,and writing;thirdly,to choose theme materials with moderate difficulty.It is hoped that this study can provide some reference for the application of CBI thematic model to the teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses. |
