The teaching of virtual words has always been the focus in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the conjunction "bing qie" is one of them.Because the conjunction "bing qie" itself is relatively complex,the previous research on it is not enough,so the further research on the conjunction "bing qie" is more important.This paper analyzes and summarizes the ontological knowledge of the conjunction "bing qie" from the perspectives of syntax,semantics and pragmatics,compares and analyzes it with confusing synonymous conjunctions.At the same time,it comprehensively investigates the overall presentation of the conjunction "bing qie" in the textbook,and carefully analyzes the errors collected in corpus and by questionnaire survey to try to find out the reasons for errors from international students,and throw out some corresponding suggestions for the teaching of "bing qie".This paper has six chapters:Firstly,the paper mainly investigates and summarizes the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic features of the conjunction "bing qie" from the perspective of Chinese ontology.The syntactic features mainly focus on the different types of connecting the front and rear components,cooccurrence and syntactic position of the conjunction "bing qie".The semantic ones focus on the semantic relations of juxtaposition and progression,and the pragmatic ones include the stylistic and textual functional features of "bing qie".Secondly,we selects six sets of the integrated textbooks,and exhaustively investigated the arrangement,annotation and practice setting of the conjunction "bing qie" in them.The result shows that the overall presentation of the conjunction "bing qie" in them has their own advantages and disadvantages.By comprehensive comparison,we finally choose the series of Developing Chinese as an example to provide some suggestions on how to effectively use the textbook to teach the conjunction "bing qie".Thirdly,we screens and counts the errors of the conjunction "bing qie".First of all,the investigation of the errors of "bing qie" in the interlanguage corpus indicates that the error types mainly include misgeneration,redundancy and omission.Secondly,the latest corpus of "bing qie" is obtained through the questionnaire,and the statistical results show that there are four types of errors that are easy to occur,according to the error rate from high to low,they are omission,misgeneration,redundancy and wrong order.Finally,on the basis of the above work,we try to analyze the reasons of errors and come up with targeted teaching suggestions.The reasons of errors are mainly divided into three dimensions.The first one is the complexity of the conjunction "bing qie" itself,and it is mainly manifested in two aspects: confusion with other words in word formation and confusion with other synonymous conjunctions.In the part of confusion with other synonymous conjunctions,we analyze and summarize the syntactic and semantic differences between "bing qie" and synonymous conjunctions "he" "bing" "er" "er qie" "hai you" and "yi ji".The second is the learner’s own factors,mainly involving the negative transfer of mother tongue,the generalization of target language knowledge and the influence of avoidance strategies.And the last one is teaching factors which includes two aspects,the first is the textbooks are lack of attention to "bing qie" and lack of comparison with synonymous conjunctions,in addition,the annotations in them are inaccurate and the practice settings are also oversimplified.The second is teachers mainly focus on the formalization of content explanation of "bing qie" and the simplification of teaching methods.The teaching suggestions mainly involve the compilation of teaching materials and teachers’ teaching.In terms of textbook compilation,textbook compilers should improve the accuracy of notes and design meaningful exercises about the conjunction "bing qie",and for teachers’ teaching,teachers should use the textbook reasonably and pay much attention to the comparison and summary between the synonymous conjunctions in the teaching process.
