With the rapid development of Chinese economy, Chinese become booming in the world, more and more foreigners come to China to study Chinese. In the process of learning Chinese, the negative transfer of mother tongue often led these learners to make all sorts of mistakes, these mistakes are often seem incredible for Chinese speakers, so that they have often been neglected by Chinese researchers. The facts tell us that for foreign students, function words are always their difficulties in learning Chinese.With the increasing amount of the studying Chinese, even more people reached senior level even above native speakers'level. During the 2 years teaching in my class I found that there are few errors in vocabulary and grammar for those senior or above level Chinese learners. However, compared with native speakers, there still has a big gap in their language expression in Chinese. Investigated its reason, there are few mistakes in notional. The main error is still concentrated in function words, especially in the conjunction parts. Segment of language logic chaos, unclear ideographic were caused due to improper use of conjunction. The questionnaire survey suggests that in the chapter errors of foreign students'composition, most errors are caused by the improper use of conjunction words. Section express has become a bottleneck in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, constrain the improvement of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This research which is carried on the questionnaire survey, Errors analysis is basis on contrast analysis, intermediary language theory and corpus linguistics theory and it compared the modem Chinese conjunctions with English and Korean conjunctions in macroscopic and microscopic analogy. From which we can find out an effective teaching methods for oversea students to study conjunction. This dissertation includes five parts:The purpose of the first chapter of the research is to study the origin, the basic ideas and research methods. Literature reviewed in the field of Modern Chinese conjunctions and conjunctions in Chinese language teaching, defined the range, features of conjunctions, and classified the results of teaching and research of the conjunction.. Finally summarized the theoretical basis of this study which are corpus linguistics, intermediary language theory ,error analysis and comparative analysis.The second chapter summarizes the types learning bias of studying conjunctions. And compared the English, Korean conjunction with Chinese conjunctions were analysis from the frequency, syntactic function, morphology, sentence position and emotional in the macro and micro Angle. So that we can find out the reason of the error occurred in conjunctions studying.The third chapter summarizes the number, frequency of conjunctions in Chinese textbooks by analyzing the typical textbook, and notes that textbooks are lack of explain for the conjunctions. And then induces the interpretation of the Chinese Dictionary of some typical conjunctions and proposed corresponding countermeasures.The fourth chapter analyzes the problems and deficiencies of teaching and practice on the class and proposes corresponding countermeasures.Chapter Five: The lack and defects of the research.
