“Ideological and political curriculum” is a kind of teaching concept,that is,in the(non ideological and political)discipline curriculum,ideological value is the guide,and the educational effectiveness of various courses is exerted.Its manifestation is “curriculum”,and its core connotation is “ideological and political education”.The concept of “ideological and political curriculum” is proposed to meet the requirements of talent training in the new era.That is to say,ideological and political education of curriculum is to infiltrate and supplement the explicit ideological and political education and the implicit ideological and political education,promote various courses to reflect the ideological and political meaning,and highlight the value of education.The "ideological and political curriculum" of middle school English is to realize the unity of “knowledge teaching” and “value guidance” of middle school English by tapping the ideological and political elements in the middle school English curriculum,and at the same time promote the mutual cooperation,coordination and cooperation between various disciplines,so as to achieve the coordinated education with the ideological and political education,and finally complete the fundamental task of “building morality and cultivating people”.However,in the process of integrating ideological and political curriculum with English teaching in middle schools,there are often many problems and obstacles,which lead to the failure to implement ideological and political curriculum in middle schools.The construction of "ideological and political curriculum" in middle school English is different from other disciplines and has a prominent necessity.However,there are some problems at present,such as the emphasis on language knowledge rather than educational function in concept,the emphasis on language application rather than value consideration in goal,the emphasis on language accumulation rather than thinking and expanding in content,the emphasis on indoctrination rather than implicit infiltration in activities,and the emphasis on utilitarian forms rather than pluralistic and pragmatic in evaluation.These problems directly affect the effective implementation of “ideological and political curriculum” in middle school English,and weaken the function of infiltrating ideological and political education in middle school English curriculum teaching.Therefore,at the level of construction concept,we should start from strengthening the ideological concept of “educating people community”,establish the value concept of “unity of knowledge and practice” and highlight the construction concept of “Internet plus”;at the level of construction goals,cultural values are taken as the guidance,and cultural knowledge teaching and ability training are taken as the foundation and power to improve humanistic quality respectively;at the level of construction content,we should strengthen patriotism education,traditional Chinese culture education and integrate the “three outlooks” education;at the level of construction methods,we should use guidance to improve cross-cultural pragmatic competence,adopt synergy to tap the genes of cultural education,and give full play to creativity to tell Chinese stories in English;at the level of building evaluation mechanism,we should combine summative evaluation with formative evaluation,constantly improve the evaluation mechanism,and jointly supervise and promote the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
