| Under the requirement of educational background in the new era,the fundamental task of education is to cultivate people’s morality.The fundamental problem of education is who to cultivate,how to cultivate people and for whom to cultivate people.The General High School English Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)has clearly pointed out that senior high school English courses play an important role in educating students’ morality.The main purpose of English curriculum should be to promote the development of students’ core English qualities and achieve the goal of cultivating virtues and educating students’ morality.Senior high school is an important period that is next to compulsory education and ahead of higher education.Integrating the concept of Curriculum ideology and politics into English curriculum and giving full play to its moral educational function can not only cultivate the core values of senior high school students and promote their all-round development,but also further develop English teaching and connect the curriculum with college English courses.Therefore,combing the ideological and political concept of curriculum with English teaching in senior high school is in line with the requirements of the current educational background in the new era and the current trend of English subject development.The study aims to investigate the current situation of the concept of Curriculum ideology and politics implementation in high school English curriculum,find out its advantages and existing problems,and propose ways to improve the current situation of ideological and political implementation in high school English courses,with a view to giving full play to the ideological and political education effects of high school English courses.The study randomly selected 70 English teachers from three senior high schools in Xiantao City,Hubei Province,and two senior high schools in Tianmen City,as well as 150 students from three high schools in Xiantao City as the research subjects,and questionnaires,interviews and course observation were carried out to obtain effective and real research data.The author has a preliminary understanding of the current situation,existing problems and deficiencies of ideological and political education in senior high school English teaching.The survey shows that the current ideological and political awareness of senior high school English teachers and students has increased,and the ideological and political teaching of English courses has achieved initial results.However,there are still some problems,such as insufficient understanding of ideological and political teaching among teachers and students,and ideological and political teaching is easy to be affected by the exam-oriented environment.Finally,the study proposes implementation paths from the perspectives of responsibility subjects,implementation subjects,and the curriculum itself.As the main responsibility body,local governments should do a good job in the overall planning of curriculum ideological and political construction.As another responsible subject,schools should do a good job in implementing curriculum ideological and political work.As the subject of implementation,teachers should strengthen curriculum ideological and political consciousness and improve curriculum ideological and political teaching ability.And the author expounds the preparation stage,implementation stage and reinforcement stage of ideological and political teaching in English class from a micro perspective,in order to provide ideas and methods for promoting the further integration of ideological and political ideas in senior high school English teaching. |
