Primary Chinese comprehensive course plays a fundamental position in the international Chinese teaching,and its teaching effect directly affects the teaching of intermediate and advanced Chinese comprehensive courses in the later period.In order to present a good teaching effect,it is very important for teachers to implement a good teaching design in class.Since the global COVID-19 outbreak,Chinese teaching in Mexico has also turned online teaching.Due to the different pronunciation of Spanish letters and Chinese letters,students don’t have concept of word order,they have little grasp of the meaning and structure of Chinese characters,and the writing of Chinese characters is not standardized enough,which causes a series of problems in their daily communication.The paper takes all the students of the second level of primary Chinese learning in the Confucius Institute of UACH,Mexico,and develops the online teaching design of lesson 11 "I Can Speak a Little Chinese" in the first volume of the New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook.First,the backgroud of the topic selection,research significance,research status and research method are summarized.Then,the teaching principles and methods followed by the online teaching design are expounded.Next part is the specific design of online teaching of "I Can Speak a Little Chinese",including the introduction of teaching platform,text introduction,teaching object,class hour allocation,teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching key and difficult teaching points,and teaching steps.Through teaching evaluation and reflection,combined with the teaching experience accumulated in the long-term teaching practice,it is put forward that the phonetic teaching should pay attention to the comparison of mother language and destination language,vocabulary teaching should strengthen part of speech and word order training,and strengthen the meaning structure and standardized writing of Chinese characters.
