| Since the emergence of the first new media self-made documentary in 2011,the platform self-made documentary has gone through a ten-year process from budding to expansion to maturity.In 2017,Bilibili,which was originally deeply rooted in the field of two dimensions,joined the ranks of self-made documentaries on the platform and became a documentary creation force that cannot be underestimated at present.Adhering to the thinking logic of "what,why,and how",this paper conducts a full sample analysis of the self-made documentary of Bilibili,explores the content characteristics and generative logic of the self-made documentary of Bilibili,and thinks about its future development.The article first discusses the concept of self-made documentaries on the platform,sorts out its development history,and thus obtains a diachronic and comprehensive understanding of the self-made documentaries of Bilibili.Then,through the observation of the sample to explore the content characteristics of the Bilibili’s self-made documentary,it was found that it showed a sense of closeness,positive energy,entertainment and lightness.The sense of closeness comes from the narrative issues that are closely related to reality,the immersive camera experience and the interaction of multiple narrative subjects;Positive energy is embodied in the construction of identity by excavating traditional culture,human emotions and struggle stories,showing life realization and integrating social trends;Entertainment is manifested as the integration of multiple audio-visual types,the creation of spectacular pictures and the use of humorous sound language to complete the content carnival in the virtual space;Lightweight is reflected in miniaturized structures,rough narratives,low-density knowledge and shallow thinking.The formation of these characteristics is closely related to the external factors of the political,market and communication environment in which they are located,as well as the internal factors of the platform tonality and the aesthetic composition of users.The ideological function of literary and artistic works affects the general direction of the content selection of the documentary content of Bilibili;the imbalance between the elite temperament of the documentary formed by the long-term development process and the demand for mass culture released since the new century guides Bilibili to produce a documentary with mass cultural colors;the mobile and scene-based communication environment makes short flat and fast become a new creative trend;based on the needs of commercial subjects solid and open source,Bilibili not only strengthens self-labeling to maintain core competitiveness,but also strives to break the circle of subculture User preferences in post-emotional societies prompt creators to cater to sensory stimuli and provide emotional belonging to users in an identity crisis.Finally,the article critically reflects on the content of the self-made documentary of Bilibili,summarizes and sorts out the problems of loss of aesthetic ontology of authenticity,indifference to cultural significance and overlapping of media ecological niches,and proposes that Bilibili should maintain an approach to reality in the integration exploration;show thinking and care in the pursuit of interests;and shape content characteristics and brand advantages under the strategy of ecological niche differentiation. |
