Observation On The Efficacy Of Ear Acupoint Pressing Seed Therapy In The Treatment Of Early Acute Lactation Mastitis (Qi Stagnation And Heat Congestion Type

Purpose:To observe the curative effect of auricular acupoint pressing seed therapy on the early stage of acute lactation mastitis(Qi stagnation and heat congestion).Material and method:Using the randomized parallel control method,44 outpatients in our hospital’s postpartum rehabilitation center who met the inclusion criteria in the early stage of acute lactation mastitis were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,22 cases in each group.The treatment period is 7 days.The observation group adopted comprehensive intervention mainly focusing on auricular acupoint pressing,that is,auricular acupoint pressing combined with ultrasonic introduction device and external application of Shui Tiao San.Auricular acupoints were selected from the breast acupoints(bilateral)and the affected side auricular sticking to the following acupoints: thoracic vertebrae(back of the ear),endocrine Points and Sanjiao points(continuous paste),subcortical points,liver points and spleen points,continuous paste for 7 days.Ultrasound introduction device was used for the treatment of combing and rubbing breast milk(once a day,20 minutes each time),and Shui Tiao San was applied externally to the affected area(twice a day).The treatment method is the same as above.The CRP index was measured before and after treatment,and the evaluation table(see the attached picture)was used to collect the data on the degree of milk excretion,the extent of local skin redness,the size of induration(according to the breast ultrasound report before and after treatment),and the degree of pain before and after 7 days of treatment in the two groups.The symptom scores were recorded according to the standard,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated by the nimodipine method to calculate the therapeutic effect index.Results:The data were calculated by SPSS 23.0 software,and it was concluded that the milk excretion degree,The extent of skin redness,induration size,pain degree and CRP index of local breast P>0.05,no statistical difference,comparable.Before and after treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of the degree of milk excretion,the extent of local skin redness and induration,and the degree of pain.After treatment,the symptom scores were all decreased.Compared with before and after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the two groups of treatment were effective;in terms of the degree of milk excretion,the size of induration and the degree of pain,the two groups after treatment P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,and the symptom score of the observation group decreased more than the control group,suggesting that auricular acupoint pressing seed therapy can promote the Breast discharge,tumor reduction and pain relief;in terms of skin redness range,P>0.05 after treatment between the two groups,there was no statistical difference,suggesting that auricular acupoint pressing seed therapy has no significant effect on reducing skin redness range;treatment within the two groups Before and after comparison,after treatment,CRP indexes were all decreased,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,suggesting that both groups could reduce CRP levels,improve inflammatory response,and play an anti-inflammatory effect.However,the comparison between the two groups after treatment P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant,suggesting that the two groups reduce the degree of inflammatory indicators is roughly the same,ear acupuncture seed pressing therapy in anti-inflammatory,the effect is not outstanding.Conclusion:Observation group(comprehensive intervention: auricular acupuncture seed pressing + ultrasonic introduction instrument + external application of Shui Tiao San)and control group(combination intervention: ultrasonic introduction instrument + external application of Shui Tiao San)in the treatment of qi stagnation and heat obstructed acute lactation mastitis in relieving clinical symptoms and anti-inflammatory effects were satisfactory.Among them,auricular acupuncture can promote smooth milk,reduce breast induration,and relieve breast pain,but it has no significant effect on reducing the redness of the lesion and reducing the level of CRP.Due to the small sample size of this test,further clinical research is required with a large sample size,and the correctness of the test results needs to be considered.No other adverse reactions were found in this trial,with high safety and simple operation,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
