Clinical Observation Of Gualou Niulang Granules Combined With Sancai Therapy In The Treatment Of Early Stage Of Acute Mastitis During Lactation

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the treatment which combines Gualou Niubang granules and Sancai therapy in stasis period of lactational mastitis,so can we find a new useful regimen to treat acute mastitis and provide it.Methods: 60 patients with stasis period of lactational mastitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.30 cases in each group.While Both groups received basic treatment with antibiotics and Gualou Niubang granules,treatment group combines Sancai therapy,control group combines traditional massage breast treatment.All patients were treated for 5 consecutive days,and followed up within 2weeks after treatment.The body temperature,the visual analog scale,the TCM syndrome score,WBC,N%,CRP and the rate of stopping breastfeeding were recorded as the curative effect observation indexes,at the same time,it was observed whether there were serious adverse reactions during the treatment.Results: The body temperature,VAS score,WBC,N% and CRP of the two groups were significantly lower than those before(P < 0.05).This indicates that both groups can reduce body temperature,relieve pain and improve symptoms.Compared with the control group,the VAS score after treatment was better in the treatment group than in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in body temperature,WBC count,neutrophil ratio,c-reactive protein,and symptom and sign score between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).The results indicated that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving pain,and the other curative effects were comparable with the control group.Overall efficacy: the total effective rate was 100.00% in the treatment group and 96.55% in the control group,with no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05).The results indicated that the two groups had similar therapeutic effects on the initial stage of lactation acute mastitis.After follow-up,the recurrence rate and the rate of stopping breastfeeding in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P <0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group.Conlusion: Based on the treatment of Gualou Niubang granules,combining with Sancai therapy is as effective as combining with traditional massage breast treatment.Compared with combining of Gualou Niubang granules and traditional massage breast treatmen,combining of Gualou Niubang granules and Sancai therapy has significant advantages in improving the degree of pain and reducing the recurrence and rate of stopping breastfeeding in stasis period of Lactational mastitis.
