Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Modified Bu Gu Zhi Tang Granules Combined With Percutaneous Vertebroplasty In The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures (kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome

Objective: In this study,we aimed to objectivel y evaluate the efficacy and safet y of Modified Psoralea Decoction Formula Granules Combined with vertebroplast y(PVP)for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(kidney yang deficiency s yndrome)by clinical observation.Methods: 90 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures who met the inclusion criteria in the Department of orthopedics and traumatology(spine department I and spine Department II)of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Universit y of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2020 to December2021 were randomly divided into three groups with 30 cases in each group.All groups received PVP surgical treatment and basic treatment.Group A was given Modified Psoralea Decoction formula granules after operation,group B was given Gushukang capsule after operation,and group C was onl y basic treatment after operation.The course of treatment of the three groups was 3 months.Before treatment,the serum osteocalcin(BGP)level and VAS score of patients in each group were measured and recorded.After the course of treatment,the above indexes were evaluated and the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine was evaluated,Spss28.0 was used for statistical anal ysis.Results:(1)After statistical anal ysis,there was no significant difference in the general data and observation indexes before treatment among the three groups(P > 0.05),suggesting that th e research data are c omparable.(2)The level of BGP in the three groups after treatment was significantl y higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement in group A was better than that in the two control groups(P < 0.05).(3)The VAS score of the three groups on the second day after PVP was significantl y l ower than that before PVP(P < 0.05).(4)After 3 months of treatment,compared with the group before treatment,the VAS score of the three groups was significantl y lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05).There was significant difference in VAS score between the three groups(P < 0.05).Group A was better than the two control groups(P < 0.05).(5)Comparison of effective rates: the overall effective rate of group A was 96.55%,which was higher than that of group B(8 6.66%)and group C(80%).The difference was statisticall y significant(P < 0.05).(6)There were no serious adverse events in the three groups during the treatment.Conclusion: PVP surgery can effectivel y improve the VAS score of patients.Taking Modified Psoralea Decoction formula granule or Gushukang capsule after PVP surgery can improve the serum BGP level of OVCF patients,reduce the VAS score and improve the treatment efficiency of OVCF patients.Compared with oral Gushukang capsule,Modified Psoralea Decoction has better curative effect and good safet y.Modified Psoralea Decoction combined with vertebroplast y in the treatment of OVCF(kidney yang deficiency syndrome)has good clinical efficacy and no sid e effects,which provides a new idea for the treatment of OVCF.
